About
Love Is My Velocity’s aim is to facilitate new work by talented artists, writers and musicians and then ensure they have an audience to view it, hear it and read it. Based in Perth, Western Australia, we began organising DJ nights in 2004 before branching out into releasing limited edition split 7″ singles in 2006, and we have steadily evolved to become a record label, publisher and developer of creative multi-disciplinary events. Our four directors have launched five split 7” vinyl singles, two full length CDs, three art publications, and have curated three exhibitions and programmed numerous cross-platform events over the past few years. Also, as a registered not-for-profit organisation, any profits made go back into supporting new work.
